MARYELLEN BEHR (DIRECTOR)
A graduate of Hofstra University, Maryellen majored in Business Management and minored in Dance, but chose to make dance her career. She has been teaching all styles of dance for over 18 years to 2-year-olds, older kids, teens, and adults. Maryellen fulfilled her dreams of having her own studio where students could receive the best dance education possible in a positive, nurturing environment.

April Rosenberg is a graduate of Montclair State University with a B.F.A in Dance. Shes been a part of BEings Dance Company as well as Scarlet Fever Dance Company where she has been a part of performances such as Sirens After Dark, Young Choreographers Festival, APAP, Choreographers Canvas, HATCH, etc. She also danced for NYC Color for Fashions Night Out, and was in Flash mobs for Glamour Magazine and Elf Yourself. April has also performed for several up and coming artists, and was a featured dancer in several videos such as Broadway Dance Centers promo for Step Up 3D. She is currently choreographing and dancing for several projects and is very proud to be a part of the M&T staff!
KC INNES (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR)
KC began teaching when M&T Dance Unlimited opened its doors. KC is a graduate of the Seaford School District and was locally trained. KC was a member of the Kickline/Dance teams for both Nassau Community College and SUNY Cortland. She earned her BS in Elementary Education and her Masters degree in Liberal Studies in Education. She loves choreographing for both recreational and competitive dancers. KC's joy is being a mom to her 2 kids and being part of the M&T family.
Amanda has been a teacher at MTDU since 2006. She has been dancing at the studio for about 15 years and was also a member of the competition team. She teaches mainly hip hop and jazz along with now choreographing for the competition team. Along with teaching at MTDU, she is also in the process of getting her medical assistant certification. Amanda loves getting the opportunity to share her passion for dance with all of her students.
Jessica is a graduate of SUNY Brockport where she received a BS in Interdisciplinary Arts for Children with a concentration in Dance. While studying at Brockport she also earned her Elementary Education teaching degree and her Masters in Special Education. Jessica is currently a special education teacher in the Seaford School District. Jessica has over 20 years of dance experience and over10 years of coaching gymnastics behind her. She is the mother of three girls who love dance just as much as their mom. Jessica loves watching dancers grow through the years. She feels that one of the most rewarding parts of teaching is being a part of a young dancers first dance experience!
Arielle has been with the M&T family since 1997. She was a part of the company for 6 years and was a student teacher for 5 years. She graduated SUNY Cortland with a B.S. in Elementary Education and is pursuing her masters to be an ESL teacher. At Cortland, Arielle was the chairman of the Cortland Dance Company where she choreographed dances, organized and ran the end of year recital. Arielle thinks of it as an honor to be able to teach dance and share the passion for this art form where she once was a student herself.
Donna has been teaching dance for 20 years. Her students range from 3 years old's through adults. In addition to her work at M&T, Donna teaches pre-school dance movement classes, Sawmill 3rd grade dance program in the Bellmore School District and the Gardiners Ave Dance program in Levittown. Donna, most recently, has been teaching Tap & Jazz Adult Education in Massapequa.
Michele has been a part of the MTDU family since age 3. She was a member of the competition team for 8 years. After graduating high school Michele studied dance at Adelphi University for 3 years, then received scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC to the summer intensive along with scholarship to be a Jazz and Contemporary trainee in the yearlong program. In the yearlong program she had the opportunity to work with Parson’s School of Design and compete for a trip to Paris sponsored by Louis Vuitton and was a part of the winning team. In May 2015 Michele graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Education and NYS Certified teacher.
Heather earned her undergraduate degree in Dance after years as a competitive gymnast through her teens, winning floor exercise competitions at Florida State Meet. In 2005, she won Floor Exercise and Vault at the Empire State Games. She currently teaches elementary school in the Levittown School District.
Jessica has been with the M&T Family since its start and started teaching in 2002. She was a member of the Molloy College Lady Lions Dance Team for all four years of college and earned a B.S in Music Education and an M.A from Hofstra University in Music Education. Jessica has been teaching students for over 10 years ranging in ages three through eighteen. She is also a certified Zumba Instructor. Jessica loves sharing her enthusiasm, energy and love for dance with her daughter and the rest of her M&T Family.
Deanna has been dancing since the young age of 2. In 2008, she joined the M&T Competition Team, where she achieved many goals and earned numerous awards. Deanna attended Long Island High School for the Arts, where she studied each genre of dance and dance history. In her senior year she was cast to dance for MTV International. Deanna is currently enrolled at Nassau Community College studying criminal justice and is also participating on the College Dance Team.
Staci is excited to have brought her talents to NYC after having lived and taught in Chicagoland area for the last 14 years. While in NYC, Staci performed with Anthony Lo Cascio’s Company and has choreographed numerous theatre productions. Miss Staci started dancing at the age of 2 and began teaching others by the age of 13 through a Teachers’ Training Program. Staci is also a Licensed Massage Therapist with a keen interest in biomechanics, kinesiology and anatomy.
As a dancer at M&T for 15 years, Alexis is honored to be able to teach alongside the teachers who have taught her everything she knows about dance. She has been a part of the competition team since 2011. In the fall, she will be attending St. John’s University as mathematics major. Alexis is looking forward to sharing her love of dance with the future generation of dancers.
Kristen has been dancing for 17 years. She has been a part of the M&T family since 2006. She was a member of the Dance competition team and competed for 5 years. She was also a member of the Wantagh Varsity Dance Team in high school for all four years and during her senior year in 2016 she was awarded the Most Valuable Player award. She continues her dancing passion by being a member of the Molloy College Dance Team. She attends Molloy College and is studying business management as well as marketing.
Lindi Hunter is a dancer, actress, and singer that was raised and trained on the West Coast. Before moving to NYC to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA,) she danced with the Oregon Coast Ballet Company and taught for the school connected to it. Now she spends her time auditioning for different shows and companies throughout the city while sharing her love and knowledge of dance by teaching all different ages and styles.
